Notes
The default location set using My Saved Locations is stored as part of your Google™ Account profile and is specific to your Google™ Account. It is not stored as a cookie on your PC.
- The default location set using My Saved Locations is separate to the default location that can be specified when not signed in to Google Maps™. The default location set when not signed in to Google Maps™ is stored as a cookie on a specific PC and is specific to a user account profile on that specific PC.
- When signed in to Google Maps™ the default location specified in My Saved Locations will be displayed.
- When NOT signed in to Google Maps™ the default location specified in the cookie on the user’s PC will be displayed.
